Playing and registering

You can play without registering. Game rooms store your nickname, selected avatar, game state and a protected session credential. Other players see your game nickname and avatar. Registration is separate from your game seat.

If you register, we collect your name, nickname, email and your optional email choices. We store these privately on the game server to run registration, manage your preferences and build only the mailing lists you choose. New accounts also use a password so you can log in on another device. We store a salted password hash, never your readable password. Registration does not verify ownership of your email address. Older registrations can set a password from the original registered device.

Email choices

Games updates and Apparel updates have separate opt-in boxes, initially unchecked. Apparel updates cover SIAMO, STRADA and PER LEI. Choosing neither does not prevent registration or play. We record the time, choices, form version, consent wording and sender details shown when you submit. We do not add your email to game snapshots.

You can change your choices after logging in through email preferences, use the unsubscribe link in a message, or contact us. A game registration does not automatically subscribe you to marketing.

Storage and service providers

We use browser storage to remember your game seat, avatar, card pack and, if you register, a private registration key and nickname. Clearing browser storage removes access from that device; log in again with your email and password. Remembered login sessions expire after 90 days. Log out when using a shared device. Changing your password signs out your other devices.

The hosted game uses Cloudflare for hosting and durable storage; local previews store data on the development computer. Authorized administrators can export registrations and consent records. If you choose email updates, your name, nickname, email and consent information may be transferred to our email delivery provider for the selected messages. We do not sell your registration details.

Advertising

SIAMO, STRADA and PER LEI ads link to the SIAMO Apparel store. These placements use local images and do not load an ad network or tracking pixel. The store has its own privacy policy.

Retention, access and deletion

We retain registrations while you choose to keep them and consent records to manage and demonstrate those choices. You can delete your registration from its settings while logged in, or contact us for access, correction, withdrawal or deletion requests. Self-service deletion removes the registration and its consent history from the game registry. We must also apply your request to any exported lists or email provider records; contact us if you need help.

Game rooms normally expire after 24 hours without an accepted game action. Registration does not follow that room expiry. Operational hosting may process network data to deliver and protect the service; application code does not save your IP address with the registration. Temporary counters limit repeated login attempts; they use a hash of the email and expire after five minutes. If you request a password reset, we send a single-use link to your registered email through our authenticated IONOS mail service. Reset credentials expire after 15 minutes; only a hash is stored on the game server. Completing a reset signs out earlier registration sessions and leaves your optional email choices unchanged. These account-recovery emails do not require marketing consent. Contact us if you need help.
